To my wife

To my wife

I don’t know what my life would look like if I did not have a strong, loving, and patient partner in life.

I’m personally grateful to have a wife who has been with me from the beginning to now. Thick and thin, up or down, she’s been there. Its been said, “the greatest ability is dependability”.

It’s rare these days to have a wife who would rather stay home and pour themselves into their children and family. Never is the case that I have to worry if my children are in good hands. Iv witnessed time and again the “them before me” in action.

Its important for me to remember that she is human also and needs edification from me and those she loves. Paul says it like this: “So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.” and “Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband.”

I thank God for my wife. Its my prayer that I can be a blessing to her as she has been to me. Grace teaches that none of us deserve Gods riches and mercy, but he gave it freely! No strings attached, no conditions, freely. What an incredible truth to think about. I am specially grateful to see shadows of that played out in our marriage where my wife is good to me and I don’t deserve any of it.

So I’m grateful, for things money cant buy, sacrifices, patience, and grace. I appreciate you my love and looking forward to what the future has for us.

Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
